A Tesla driver and his passengers were frightened up when the car detected 'ghosts' roaming through a cemetery near the real-life house from The Conjuring.

The man claimed to have been traveling through a cemetery near the Arnold Estate, the real-life inspiration for the 2013 film, when figures appeared on the car's control screen.

For those who are unaware, Teslas can display information about adjacent things, like as pedestrians and other vehicles, on the central display panel owing to a variety of sophisticated sensors.

In principle, automobiles should not assume that inanimate objects are humans or detect ghosts, but here we are.

In the video, the party is shown driving slowly through the cemetery as more and more human-shaped images appear on the screen; at the end of the video, the Tesla appears to be encircled by 'ghosts' while the passengers scream in fear. Guys, it's a big 'nay' from me.

How did people on the internet react?

People were left feeling slightly spooked after viewing the video, with one commenter saying, "That is WILD. They were looking at the Tesla like, "Oooh." "What is that?"

Another person said, in jest: "They all heard you freaking out so had to come look at them on the screen themselves." A third person wrote, "The way they all slowly started congregating around the vehicle."

The Conjuring is partially based on the true story of the Perron family, who moved to Arnold Estate in the 1970s.
