The Pentagon Has Reportedly Released 3 'UFO' Videos Taken By US Navy Pilots
The Pentagon has reportedly officially released three short clips of US Navy pilots encounter with what they have termed unidentified aerial phenomena. The infrared videos filmed from US Navy planes in 2004 and 2015 showed unidentified Aerial phenomena UAPs. The objects can be seen traversing the skies in an unexplained manner and at extremely high speeds.
Four months into 2020 and it already feels like an eternity. From the fires that ravaged Australia, to Kobe Byrant¡¯s death and, of course, the coronavirus pandemic that has ravaged the world, a number of strange things have happened so far. And as if all that wasn¡¯t enough, we have a new development on the ¡®alien life¡¯ front.
The Pentagon has reportedly officially released three short clips of US Navy pilots' encounter with what they have termed ¡®unidentified aerial phenomena.¡¯
The infrared videos, filmed from US Navy planes in 2004 and 2015, showed ¡®unidentified aerial phenomena¡¯ (UAPs). The objects can be seen traversing the skies in an unexplained manner and at extremely high speeds.
Two of the videos contained the recordings of the communications by the pilots, who were clearly blown away by the velocity of the unknown aircraft.
The Pentagon said it released the footage to ¡°to clear up any misconceptions by the public on whether or not the footage that has been circulating was real or whether or not there is more to the videos,¡± a statement on the Department of Defense website said.
¡°After a thorough review, the department has determined that the authorized release of these unclassified videos does not reveal any sensitive capabilities or systems, and does not impinge on any subsequent investigations of military air space incursions by unidentified aerial phenomena,¡± the statement said.
Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, tweeted in support of the Pentagon releasing the videos Monday. In his tweet, Reid added that the videos ¡°only scratch the surface of research and materials available.¡±
I¡¯m glad the Pentagon is finally releasing this footage, but it only scratches the surface of research and materials available. The U.S. needs to take a serious, scientific look at this and any potential national security implications. The American people deserve to be informed. https://t.co/1XNduvmP0u

One of the videos released shows an incident from 2004 in which Navy pilots encountered an object 40 feet long hovering about 50 feet above the water, according to the New York Times; the two other videos are from 2015 and show strange objects moving very quickly ¡ª one racing above the water, another rotating in mid air (the videos were released after unauthorized leaks in 2007 and 2017, CBS News reports.)
The release of the videos and the Times report on the experiences of the Navy pilots who encountered the objects comes as government officials have sought to investigate and lend more transparency to the subject in recent years.
