They say ' A friend in need is a friend indeed', and this Chinese boy has proven it in the best way possible.
Meet 12-year-old Xu Bingyang - he has been giving his best friend Zhang Ze a piggyback ride to their school and class every day for six years.
According to Mail Online, Zhang Ze was diagnosed with a rare muscle condition, sometimes known as the ragdoll disease, at the age of four. The condition doesn't allow him to walk.
But thanks to his friend, nothing has changed. Xu began giving Zhang a piggyback to and from school every day, and between classes.
Zhang told Sichuan Online, ¡°Xu Bingyang is my best friend. Every day, he studies with me, chats with me and plays with me. I thank him to look after me like this every day.¡±
¡°I weigh more than 40kg and Zhang Ze only weighs about 25kg, so it¡¯s okay for me to carry him,¡± he said.
Xu considers it his duty to help his friend. According to his teachers, Xu has never once complained about anything and he carries on his good deed without any qualms.
Teachers, of course, are stumped by his maturity at such a young age, something even grown-ups needs to learn from.
What an inspiration!
