A truck driver won the lotto three times in one year, each time with identical numbers. According to a news release from the Maryland Lottery, the unidentified 52-year-old man has been called the "luckiest man alive" after winning his third $50,000 lottery jackpot in 11 months on April 13.

Prior to his third win, he received two different $50,000 prizes in the same May 2022 drawing, totalling $1,000,000. Surprisingly, he used the same five numbers in all three wins - 48548.
'It happened last year, and it hit again,' said the Charles County man, who requested anonymity, to the Maryland Lottery on Wednesday. 'My wife said, "Let's play this number," and we've been winning with it ever since.'
The man won the lunchtime drawing on April 13 and headed to the lottery headquarters this week to receive his prize. He previously won $100,000 on two tickets he purchased for a midday drawing on May 18, 2022.

He's earned the moniker 'Big Winner.' He also believes that most lottery winners stop playing because they believe they will not be able to win more than once.
He and his wife intend to take a trip with the proceeds from his most recent win. His hobbies include going to racetracks and playing the Lottery's Racetrax game. Big Mouth Beer, Wine, and Liquor in Waldorf, where he purchased his most recent Pick 5 ticket, will receive a $500 bonus.
Last year, the man won by entering identical numbers on two distinct Pick 5 tickets for the same drawing. He purchased two $1 straight tickets as well as two $1 box tickets. His then-fianc¨¦e informed him of his good fortune.
