Up until now, we've heard of teachers raining down blows on students, but in this UP school, tables turned and how.
In a shocking incident, a teacher and woman welfare officer posted at the Gandhi Seva Niketan Ashram in Chak Dhaurahra, Uttar Pradesh¡¯s Raebareli district, was thrashed by a gang of students.
Mamata Dubey:I was locked up in washroom at Gandhi Sewa Niketan by the children, when I talked to authorities about it,they said that children can do whatever they want. When I went there after 2 days,I was beaten by the children.I also went to complain to district administration. https://t.co/I67GEVOWPA pic.twitter.com/rFjCjTtFLi

The reason?
Well, the students allege that Mamata was known to make disrespectful comments about them in class. One student alleged that she called them 'orphans'. That, apparently, was what triggered the students' violent behaviour.
The entire incident was captured on CCTV and the angry mob of students can be seen picking up her handbag and throwing it. They then pick up a plastic chair and attack her with it.
While this was the students' side of the story, Mamata's explanation for the attack is entirely different. She claims that the entire attack was orchestrated by the manager, who has been harassing her. The report claims that Mamata was fired a while ago and had gotten back the job on the intervention of the former district magistrate, Neha Sharma. Since then, she says, that the staff has been mistreating her.
"After Neha Sharma was transferred, the manager has been trying to harass me and even planned this attack on me," ANI quoted Mamata as saying.

Mamata said, "I was locked up in washroom at Gandhi Sewa Niketan by the children. When I talked to authorities about it, they said that children can do whatever they want to. When I went there after two days, I was beaten by the children. I also went to complain to district administration."
The situation was later contained, when a district probation department official intervened, according to Patrika.
In her complaint, Ms Dubey said she had been mistreated several times in the past. The police is investigating the incident and are yet to issue a statement.
