We live in a world where there are all kinds of relationships - committed, open, complicated, but this man took his relationship to the next level. A 35-year-old man married two women, who are cousins, in the same wedding ceremony in Madhya Pradesh¡¯s Bhind.
He tied the knot with his wife again and also got married to her cousin at the same time. According to reports, Dileep Parihar - the groom was already married to his wife Vinita - who is the sarpanch of Gudavali village in Bhind district's Mehgaon - before he married his sister-in-law, Rachna.
The video of the wedding also went viral on Facebook. Here's the video:
Dileep and Vinita got married nine-years-ago and have three children. According to PTI, Dileep said that his wife, Vinita, did not have any problem with him marrying her cousin as she was not keeping well and wanted someone to take care of her children. He exchanged garlands with both the sisters at the wedding.
¡°I got married to Rachna with Vinita's consent. I got married to Vinita about nine years back and we have three children, two girls, and a boy. Vinita is unwell and wanted me to marry again so that someone can look after our three children,¡± Parihar told PTI.
Dileep also claimed that he had earlier told Vinita that he liked Rachna and wanted to marry her. His wife then agreed to the wedding, which took place on November 26 in Gudawali village.

Bigamy is an offence not just under the criminal law, but also according to the Hindu Marriage Act - Section 17. Hindu Marriage Act says that the second marriage between Hindus is void if, on the date of such marriage, either party had a husband or wife living. The same is punishable under Section 494 and 495 of the Indian Penal Code.
However, Bhind¡¯s Superintendent of Police, Rudolf Alvares, said no complaint has been received so far in this case.
In a similar incident of bigamy, a man in Indonesia married both his girlfriends at the same time, as he couldn¡¯t bear to watch either one of them get hurt, according to Vice Indonesia. The video of the incident went viral on Facebook, where the groom, whose name remains unknown, can be seen marrying two girls, sitting next to him. The ceremony took place in Airtarap, Kalimantan on August 17.

Actually, polygamy is not a new concept in Indonesia! As per the new laws, a man can have up to four wives as long as he is able to take care of them and provide them with basic necessities.
Well, it might be okay in Indonesia, but here in India we're wondering 'Yeh kya ho raha hai?'
