How is Virat doing these days?
The common consensus was that Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma would probably be eased out of the format after the 2022 T20 World Cup. However, it is evident that they are very much in the picture, given that the BCCI selectors chose both for India's final T201 series before the 2024 T20 World Cup.
As per a report published in Cricbuzz, which cited reliable sources, Virat Kohli and the BCCI selectors discussed what was expected of him. The correspondence concerned his function in the most condensed manner possible for India.
According to the allegation, Ajit Agarkar, the chief selector for the BCCI, actually saw him in Cape Town. The report also stated that it's unclear if a conversation along these lines happened between Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill.
Virat Kohli has amassed 4008 runs at an average of 52.73 across 115 games. His rate of strikeout is 137.96. Virat Kohli made history on Thursday during India's humiliating loss to South Africa in the first Test by becoming the first batter to score 2000 runs in seven separate calendar years.
