Love can make people do crazy things! In this particular case, it made a woman approach the police to complain that her boyfriend 'wouldn't kiss her'.
A woman in Lincolnshire, England, took things to another level after her boyfriend didn't kiss her - calling 999 emergency number to complain about the same, BBC reported.
The Lincolnshire Police has since appealed to people to only use the emergency number when "life or property are in immediate danger".
The police cautioned against making time-wasting calls to the area¡¯s emergency services. They revealed other "simply unbelievable" calls they received include people asking for train times, requesting a number for a dentist and calling to report that someone had no water.
This time of year is one of the busiest for our Call Takers who answer the emergency 999 calls. We see a rise in the number of calls, especially in the evenings.

Police said that Christmas was one of the busiest times of the year.
"Calling us on 999 because your boyfriend won't kiss you is unreasonable," Lincolnshire Police said.
"We try to understand why people call 999 as a hoax or for unreasonable or inappropriate reasons, but we're left wondering why."
This isn't the first instance of a love bird calling police to register a bizarre complaint. Last month, a woman approached the police to complain that her boyfriend was not talking to her.
The woman from Madhya Pradesh's Chhindwara was in a romantic relationship with a man from Sarani, Free Press Journal reported. However, there was trouble in paradise when the woman failed to wish the man on his birthday due to some reason.
It resulted in a fight between them, after which he stopped talking to her altogether. The woman made several attempts to get in touch with him, but her efforts proved unfruitful.
The woman eventually called up the cops to seek their help to get her to talk to her boyfriend, as per Free Press Journal.
The police then called him to the police station and the couple was counselled by them for a few hours.
In the end, they were reconciled and the police advised them to get married. Heeding the advice, the couple¡¯s family members agreed to their nuptials. In the end, the two got married in Arya Samaj Mandir.
While this love story had a happy ending, not every tale gets so lucky.
In July, a video went viral showing a woman crying inconsolably outside a wedding hall in Madhya Pradesh's Hoshangabad as her lover married another woman.
The girl was barred from entering the wedding hall as she kept shouting ¡°Babu¡Babu¡± desperately. The woman claimed that she had been in a live-in relationship with the man for the last three years. Both of them reportedly worked at a private firm in Bhopal.
