Woman Shares How She As '18YO-Clueless Girl' Once Landed Up For Stripper's Job At A Nightclub By Mistake
A woman who went to check out a nightclub that opened recently near her place later found out that was a stripper club and she was being interviewed for it.
A lot of times it so happens that we intend to do or say something else but others understand it differently. Or by accident, you do something you didn't really mean to do.
That's what happened to a Reddit user who shared how unintentionally she ended up at an interview for a stripper job.
On Reddit, she shared an incident that happened over 10 years ago. This was a time when she was just 18 and found out that a nightclub has opened close to her place. So, naturally, like a na?ve 18-year-old she went ahead to check it out.
She narrated how when she went there, a tall blonde woman was there on the front door who asked her if she can help the girl with anything. She added, "She had the whole pimp vibe, but again, I was 18, stupid and clueless, and I wanted to 'sound cool' so I told her that I lived nearby, was thinking about hanging out there sometime, and asked for more information about the place."
The tall woman then started inquiring her about her age and after getting to know that, she took her inside to meet her business partner. However, the girl thought that is only happening because she'll be getting free drinks.
But when the girl was taken inside she saw that the building was filled with poles and posters of naked ladies, right through to a little office out the back.
She saw the tall blonde woman talking to the man in the office and introduced the 18-year-old as the "lovely young girl" whose looking to know about the place. This is when the girl started feeling weirded but still couldn't get what's happening. She asked for a flyer to take with her and leave.
But to her surprise, the man wanted to know the girl first and asked her to sit.
"Well, he wanted to get to know me first, so he asked me to sit down as he asked questions like what I did for a living, where I lived, if I liked to dance, if I had finished my studies, where I had worked before, if I did drugs and other super personal stuff. I was confused but only when he asked to see my ID I realized that I was in a job interview."
This is when she realized what's happening.
But instead of letting the guy know that it was a misunderstanding and she doesn't want a job, she went with it. "I was paralyzed and had no idea what to do, so I just gave him my ID and after a good look he told me the club was closed for a renovation, but there would be a big reopening in a month so they were looking for dancers and 'maybe more depending on my performance' so if I could just leave my contact information they would give me a call."
The girl even wrote her real name and contact number for a stripper's job after which she thanked the man for his time and left the building.
When she received a call from them later, she politely declined saying she wasn't interested. Ah! That was super cringe.
