Bihar: Bride Runs After Groom-to-be After He Refuses To Marry Her & Walks Away
A video of a woman running after her groom-to-be at Bhagat Singh Chowk in Nawada has gone viral on social media.
We have only seen in Bollywood movies how lovers run behind each other in order to be together. But imagine the same happening in real life - a woman running behind her man on a crowded street, but there is a twist. The woman was running behind the man and the man was running away from her. Well, this did happen recently.
A woman runs behind the groom-to-be on a crowded street
A video is going viral where a woman was seen running after her groom-to-be at Bhagat Singh Chowk in Nawada, Bihar. The woman went to the market with her parents when she spotted her groom-to-be. She insisted to get married to him. This is when the said groom-to-be started running away.
The locals gathered around asking what has happened while the man kept hiding his face and pulled away from the camera. The bride, however, starts running behind the groom-to-be and catches hold of him with the help of a few local people. The woman grabbed the man, cried and pleaded, "Meri shadi karwaao."

In the video, the man is seen trying to free himself from the woman's grip again and again. But the woman and the father of the woman hold him all too tightly. According to the woman's family, the wedding date was arranged around three months ago between the said woman and the groom-to-be. They had reportedly given a bike and Rs 50,000 cash as dowry to the man's family. However, when the wedding date was approached, the man asked to reschedule it.
Not just that, according to the bride's family even the groom's family had been giving excuses to not get their son married or to delay the said wedding.

According to the video, the man hails from Mehkar village, the woman is from Mahuli village. When the news about this entire incident started spreading, police intervened and reached the spot.

The cops then took both parties to a Mahila Thana. At the Mahila thana, both the families of the man and the woman were counselled thoroughly. Both parties eventually agreed to the marriage. The woman and the man finally got married at the temple next to the police station.
Straight out of a very bad Bollywood movie, if you ask us.
