WWE Raw April 7 preview: The latest episode of WWE Raw promises to be an intense and compelling affair, featuring several top stars. The likes of CM Punk, The New Day, and Paul Heyman are set to appear on the show tonight. However, John Cena and Cody Rhodes¡ªthe company¡¯s biggest attractions¨C will not be in the house for the April 7th edition of Raw.

John Cena, Cody Rhodes to skip WWE Raw tonight

John Cena, who is set to retire from in-ring competition later this year, is set to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed Championship at WrestleMania 41. Last week, the Cenation leader traded insults with his opponent on Raw and eventually tried to hit him. This, however, backfired. Rhodes hit him with a Cross Rhodes, sending across a clear message. The GOAT will now appear on WWE programming directly at WrestleMania 41. This essentially means he won¡¯t be on Raw tonight.

Similarly, Cody Rhodes too is set to skip this week¡¯s episode of the ¡®red brand¡¯. He, however, will appear on SmackDown later this week.

Despite Rhodes and Cena¡¯s absence, their feud is expected to dominate the narrative tonight. One can expect the show to feature at least one package focusing on their feud. There may also be a few mentions of the shocking events that transpired last week.

What else is on the card?

This week¡¯s episode of Raw will also feature two title matches. lyra Valkyria will be defending her Intercontinental title against Bayley. Additionally, The War Raiders will put the tag titles on the line against The New Day.

Moreover, Penta will be taking on Dominik Mysterio tonight.

The show will also feature an appearance from Paul Heyman. The Wiseman shocked the world last week on SmackDown when he agreed to be in CM Punk¡¯s corner at WrestleMania 41, betraying Roman Reigns in the process. It remains to be seen wether he runs into trouble this week because of these actions.
