WWE Raw May 5: Sheamus, who was last seen at the Royal Rumble, returned to WWE programming on the May 5th edition of Raw. He then beat Austin Theory in a singles match. Grayson Waller was at the ringside for the contest
Sheamus returned to WWE programming on the latest episode of Raw and defeated Austin Theory in a fairly one-sided match. This was the Celtic Warrior¡¯s first appearance on the red brand since the Royal Rumble earlier this year.
Raw: Sheamus defeats Austin Theory
Grayson Waller was set to compete on tonight¡¯s episode of Raw. However, he changed his mind after learning the identity of his opponent and requested his partner, Austin Theory, to take his place.
Later in the night, Theory made his way to the ring with Waller by his side. It was soon revealed that the young star would be taking on Sheamus in the eagerly awaited match. The returning Irish star dominated the majority of the match and eventually put his rival away with a devastating brogue kick. This was Sheamus¡¯ first match since the Royal Rumble 2025 where he entered the titular match.
