WWE SmackDown March 28: The latest episode of SmackDown opened with an intense segment that featured three big names. Cody Rhodes tried to address the audience ahead of his WrestleMania 41 match against John Cena. He was, however, interrupted by Randy Orton.
¡®The Apex Predator¡¯ lauded his former Legacy stablemate for being the face of the company. He then hinted at getting a shot at his Undisputed Championship. Orton also called Cena a ¡®coward¡¯ for betraying Rhodes at Elimination Chamber 2025
Randy Orton has a message for Cody Rhodes
Cody Rhodes kicked off WWE SmackDown but was interrupted by Randy Orton. The former 'Legend Killer' lauded 'The American Nightmare' for his commitments to the WWE Universe and recalled how he once beat Seth Rollins despite being injured.

Orton then took a dig at John Cena and said that, unlike The Cenation Leader, he would never betray him. His comments were a reference to Cena attacking Rhodes at Elimination Chamber on The Rock's orders. Orton also hinted that he too wants to get back into the title picture once WrestleMania 41 is over.
Drew McIntyre joins the duo
They were interrupted by Drew McIntyre, who taunted them for being 'nepo babies'. He then threatened to injure Orton and demanded a shot at Rhodes' title. Orton and 'QB 1' eventually shut him up by assaulting him. The veteran even tried to hit an RKO on McIntyre but failed to do so as the former 'Chosen One' escaped. It remains to be seen if this segment has an impacton what transpires at WrestleMania 41.
