Top dishes ordered
Biryani was the obvious winner, with a stunning 83 million orders, or roughly 158 orders per minute. That means more than two biryanis are requested per second.

Dosa finished second, with 23 million orders, demonstrating its supremacy as a breakfast and snack staple throughout India.
Rasmalai and Sitaphal ice cream were popular treats, with deliveries taking less than 10 minutes on average.
Most popular mealtime
Dinner was the most popular mealtime, with 215 million orders, 29% more than lunch, confirming its status as the most ordered meal of the day.
Across cities, Delhi loved Chole Bhature, Chandigarh liked Aloo Parantha,
Kolkata remained with its favourite Kachoris. Fastest delivery: Swiggy Bolt delivered ice cream to a Bikaner customer in just 3 minutes.

The Chicken Roll had the most orders (2.48 million), while the Chicken Burger became a late-night favourite, particularly between midnight and 2 a.m. (1.84 million).
Unique order
In a genuinely unique order, a Delhi consumer requested 250 Onion Pizzas at once.
Top delivery partners
Swiggy's delivery partners travelled 1.96 billion kilometres in 2024, which equates to more than 533,000 trips from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
Top achievers included Kapil Kumar Pandey from Mumbai, who finished 10,703 deliveries, and Kaleeswari M from Coimbatore, who made 6,658 deliveries. Swiggy Dineout helped 22 million diners save ?533 crore, including ?101 crore in Bengaluru alone.
The average diner saved ?708, up from the previous year's savings of ?672.
Largest bill

The biggest recorded bill was ?3 lakh from a Mumbai diner. A Delhi client saved ?1.22 lakh on a single order, making them the greatest savings.
Top cities with most orders
Bengaluru led the way in alcohol deliveries, with 289,000 orders, considerably outpacing Delhi's 96,000. Romantic eating was on the upswing, with 2.35 million reservations for "just the two of us," led by Bengaluru (486K) and Jaipur (64,000).
