Apple Closes Above $3 Trillion Market Cap For First Time
Apple has added more than $983 billion to its size this year, as per Bloomberg. It currently has a market capitalisation of $3.05 trillion, after its shares gained 2.3% on Friday, taking this year¡¯s rally to 55% to date.

2018: Apple hits $1 trillion market cap
2020: Apple hits $2 trillion market cap
2022: Apple hits $3 trillion market cap but closes below it
2023: Apple hits the $3 trillion market again and this time it closes above that milestone mark for the first ever time.

Apple Stock's Milestone Years
Apple's IPO came out in December 1980, when the tech giant went public at $22.00 per share price.
Later, Apple first became the world¡¯s most valuable stock in 2011, when its market cap was under $340 billion and it comprised about 3.3% of the S&P 500. Since then, it has seldom forfeited that title.
It first reached $1 trillion in value in mid-2018, and it achieved a $2 trillion valuation in August 2020, making it the first US company to surpass that level.
