Mukesh Ambani¡¯s 100-year-old mansion in Gujarat, which has a rich cultural history, is his ancestral home, but not many people know about it. This mansion, which is currently a memorial dedicated to Dhirubhai Ambani, the father of Mukesh Ambani, was originally named "Mangarolvalano Delo". The mansion is situated on the Arabian Sea coast in Chorwad village, Junagadh district, Gujarat.
It is surrounded by a stunning garden with a variety of flowers and trees, and it is situated on a 1.2-acre plot of land worth an estimated Rs 100 crore. The mansion is a two-story structure with multiple rooms, a veranda, and a central courtyard constructed in the traditional Gujarati style. Over the years, the mansion has undergone renovations and modernizations, but many of its original architectural features and features have survived. The mansion's interiors are embellished with artwork, chandeliers, and antique furniture that pay homage to a family's heritage, as per TOI report.

History & Ownership Of This Rs 100 Crore Mansion
Originally owned by a local landlord, Mukesh Ambani's grandfather, Hirachand Gordhanbhai Ambani, rented out a small portion of the mansion in the early 20th century. Former teacher Hirachand Gordhanbhai Ambani went on to become a trader and businessman. Along with his spouse Jamnaben and their six children¡ªamong whom was Dhirubhai Ambani born in 1932¡ªhe resided in the mansion. Playing, learning, and dreaming in the courtyard, Dhirubhai Ambani spent his formative years in the mansion. At sixteen, he left the mansion to work in Aden, Yemen, but even after he moved to Mumbai as a successful businessman and became a successful entrepreneur, he continued to return to his childhood home.

Mansion Turned Into Memorial-Cum-Museum
Following Dhirubhai Ambani's death in 2002, his family made the decision to purchase the entire estate and turn the mansion into a museum and memorial in his honor. 2011 saw the mansion dubbed "The Dhirubhai Ambani Memorial House" officially opened by his sons Anil and Mukesh as well as his wife Kokilaben Ambani. The mansion is split into two sections, each having a separate entrance and exit and designated as either private or public.
Through pictures, records, honors, and personal items, the public area highlights Dhirubhai Ambani's life and accomplishments. The Ambani family and their visitors are allowed to stay in the mansion and use its amenities, but only they have access to the private area. In addition, there is a prayer hall, meditation room, conference room, and library within the mansion.
Entry & Visit Timings For The Mansion
With the exception of Mondays and public holidays, the mansion is open to the public from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The mansion entrance fee is Rs 2 per person, and for an additional Rs 10 per person, guests can take a guided tour. The mansion's gift shop offers books and souvenirs for visitors to purchase. Many people come to the mansion to pay their respects and learn more about Dhirubhai Ambani and his legacy; these visitors are mainly from the surrounding towns and villages. School and college students also frequent the mansion, drawn by Dhirubhai Ambani's inspirational and motivational tale of rags to riches.
