101 Kg Gold To Crores Of Rupees, Businessmen Who Have Reportedly Donated For Ayodhya Ram Mandir

The much awaited inauguration of Ayodhya¡¯s Ram Mandir has finally happened, with thousands of guests and devotees attending the ceremony. From PM Modi, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, to the Ambani and Birla family, the ceremony was attended by many popular and prominent personalities of the country.

Besides catching the eyeballs of millions across the country and around the world as well, the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is also receiving lots of donations, which have totaled to more than Rs 5,500 crore already. In fact, the donations are doubling every two hours. While there are rumours of many celebrities and politicians donating undisclosed amounts, there are some businessmen too who have donated generously towards the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

Businessmen Who Have Donated For The Ayodhya Temple

1. Mukesh Ambani & Family-Rs 2.51 Crore

After attending the Ram Mandir inauguration ceremony, Reliance Industries' chairman Mukesh Ambani and his family announced a donation of Rs 2.51 crore to the temple.

2.Dilip Kumar V Lakhi-Rs 68 Crore

Dilip Kumar V Lakhi and his family, who are prominent diamond merchants from Surat, have reportedly donated the most. Their extraordinary gesture involves a donation of 101 kg of gold, valued at approximately Rs 68 crore.

The 101 kg gold is being utilised for gilding the doors, Sanctum Sanctorum, Trishul, Damru, and pillars of the Ram Mandir.

3. Mukesh Patel-Rs 11 Crore

Surat-based businessman Mukesh Patel has donated a diamond crown worth Rs 11 crore for Ram Lalla idol that was consecrated at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Mukesh Patel owns the Green Lab Diamond Company . The crown is adorned with diamond, gold and other gemstones and reportedly weighs 4.5 kg.

4.Govindbhai Dholakia-Rs 11 Crore

Gujarat-based Govindbhai Dholakia of Sri Ramkrishna Exports has reportedly donated Rs 11 crore for the temple.

5.Mahesh Kabutarwala - Rs 5 Crore

Mahesh Kabutarwala of Swiss Glascoat Equipments is said to have donated Rs 5 crore.

6.Lavji Badshah- Rs 1 Crore

Lavji Badshah of Matrushri Kankuba Foundation donated Rs 1 crore, as per reports.

7.WS Habib: Rs 1 Lakh

Chennai-based WS Habib has donated Rs 1 lakh for Ram Mandir.

8.Aditya Mittal-Rs 25 Lakh

Jalesar-based Aditya Mittal contributed a 2,400 kg bell made of 8 metals worth Rs 25 lakh to the temple.

Other Major Donations For Ayodhya's Ram Mandir

Besides these businessmen, many other donations have been pouring in for the temple.

Earlier, Ram Nath Kovind, who is the former President of India (from 2017 to 2022), donated over Rs 5 lakh - Rs 500,100, to be precise. Yogi Adityanath, (UP CM since 2017-Present), donated Rs 2 lakh.

Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Mukesh Khanna, Pawan Kalyan, Hema Malini, Manoj Joshi, Gurmeet Choudhary and Pranitha Subhash are among the celebrities who have also donated for Ayodhya¡¯s Ram Mandir.
