Tweeting about the same, Tesla CEO Elon Musk mentioned that people have to pay in ¡®Dogecoin¡¯ to purchase the collectible. As per Tesla shop website, the limited edition collectible has already been sold out!

Tesla says that Dogecoin is the only cryptocurrency that it currently accepts for select merchandise. Like other digital asset transactions, incorrect payment amounts or asset types sent to its address will not be reversed or refunded. Users require a Dogecoin wallet to pay for Tesla goods. Also, all sales are final, and products are expected to ship within 4 to 6 weeks. On top of that, Tesla requires buyers to pay only in Dogecoin (DOGE). The price tag as per Tesla website is 1,000 DOGE. Taxes and shipping were included in the DOGE price, as per a Cointelegraph report.
Also, it's noteworthy that this is not the first time Musk has tweeted about Cyberwhistle. In December 2021, he tweeted about it, with the post targeted at Apple to mock it for charging $19 for a 'silly' cloth.
Don¡¯t waste your money on that silly Apple Cloth, buy our whistle instead!

'Dogefather' Elon Musk
This isn't the first or only instance when ¡®Dogefather¡¯ Elon Musk has supported or put Dogecoin into the limelight.
His undying love for the meme coin has been clear enough through his numerous tweets in favour of Dogecoin. Some of his popular tweets surrounding the memecoin include:
As recently as June 2022, when Musk was sued for a whopping $258 billion by a Dogecoin investor for allegedly running a pyramid scheme to support the cryptocurrency, the Tesla CEO said he will keep supporting Dogecoin.
In April 2022, amidst his quest to take over Twitter in the $44 billion deal, Elon Musk tweeted a suggestion of making Dogecoin a payment option for the Twitter Blue subscription service.
In January 2022, Musk tweeted "I will eat a happy meal on tv if @McDonalds accepts Dogecoin."

And that's not all. In August 2021, when billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban said "Dogecoin is the strongest cryptocurrency as a medium of exchange", Musk replied 'I've been saying this for a while."
