Elon Musk successfully managed to peak the excitement levels of automobile enthusiasts with Tesla¡¯s latest launch. A pickup truck called Cybertruck has been the centre of attraction since the unveil on November 27. Sightings of the latest trophy electric vehicle have since then been reported multiple times. None this exciting though, as this one seems to have the Tesla CEO driving the Cybertruck himself!
That is as per a recent thread trending on Reddit. Since its upload a day ago, the image of a Cybertruck parked at a restaurant called Nobu in Los Angeles has garnered 23.2k upvotes and more than 2,000 comments. As per the user ¡®v2rocxket¡¯, the Cybertruck was driven to the restaurant by none other than Elon Musk.
So i saw Elon Musk today at a restaurant called Nobu in Los Angeles today. Guess what he was driving? from r/pics
This might be the very first time that the Tesla CEO took a concept vehicle out for a spin. ¡®v2rocxket¡¯ further mentioned that the vehicle apparently has in-cabin cameras too. Tesla chief designer Franz von Holzhausen was also at the restaurant and explained the user¡¯s father about those in a bit. "It has cameras that are built in apparently. My dad was talking to the lead designer who was also there and he told my dad a little bit about them," it reads.
The thread rounds off with a hilarious twist. ¡°The guy who threw the two steel balls at the window was there too,¡± ¡®v2rocxket¡¯ reveals. If you recall, Elon Musk was demonstrating the durability of Cybertruck¡¯s glass windows when one of them broke right at the event. The incident cost the company a lot of money too, as its shares fell by around 4% the following day.
Apart from the viral image, a video by TMZ also confirms the sightings. Elon Musk can be seen at the valet of Nobu in the driving seat of the Cybertruck. It is quite easy to see that the Cybertruck is the coolest vehicle in the parking. After all, it doesn't get any bigger than this on regular roads for sure!
As the Cybertruck rolls off, a Tesla Model S crosses it and the moment shows just how humongous the pickup truck looks in comparison with a sedan. And then Musk knocks off a sign board; probably a bit too large for some lanes!
