Another electric motorcycle might be hitting the Indian market soon, as a production ready model of it has been spotted under testing recently. This time, the bike comes from the house of Ultraviolette Automotive, a Bengaluru based start-up backed by TVS with a 25 percent stake named to it.
The F77, is the firm¡¯s first model to be rolled out and carries a similar street-dedicated look as the KTM bikes. From all that is known so far, the F77 will come with a full-LED headlamp set-up with DRLs at the bottom, USD forks with sharp styling and a neat digital instrument cluster. Added to all this is are dual LED tail lights, Metzeler M5 wrapped rims highlighted with blue, disc brakes at both ends, as well as Dual-channel ABS.

Essentially, the F77 will compete against 200cc motorcycles in the market. The corresponding specifications of the bike mention a 25kW/90Nm electric motor that boasts of a 0-100 km/hr dash in around 8 seconds and a top speed of 140 km/hr. It is expected that the bike will offer a range of 150 km.
As of now, no set date for the bike¡¯s launch has been announced but it is known that the F77 will be rolled out some time later this year. As for its price, you can expect a tag of Rs 2 to 2.5 lakh for the electric bike.
Interestingly enough, this is not the only mid-segment electric motorcycle about to hit the Indian market. Chinese OEM Evoke Motorcycles had also recently announced its plans to enter India with its electric bikes portfolio. While the company already has two products on offer for its global market, it is expected to bring in a new, entry-level offering as its debut product in India.
