After two weeks of merciless trolling that Neha Dhupia had to encounter for her opinion on a girl choosing to cheat on her boyfriend with 5 other men during auditions for the show Roadies Revolution, the actor?has?responded with an intelligent and dignified statement last night.?
Responding to the trolls, Neha wrote: ¡°Roadies?is a show that I have been a part of for five years and enjoyed every bit of it. It takes me all over India and gives me the opportunity to team up with absolute rock stars from all parts of the country. What I do not like or accept is what is happening for more than two weeks now! Recently during one of the episodes that aired, I took a stand against violence."
And there is a point in Dhupia's note where you start to understand the magnitude of how people cross boundaries and take threats and abuses to unwarranted family members that have nothing to do with the entire controversy.?
In life, we will always come across people who hold different opinions and see the world in a different light than you. Does that mean they should be subjected to harassment and abuses? One must remember that celebrities are humans at the end of the day and don't deserve such hostile treatment. If cheating is gender neutral for Neha Dhupia and ranks lower than physical abuse, so be it. Agree to disagree and move on.?
