We all remember Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor dancing to the song Kuk-Doo-Koo to convince a little girl to eat her meals in 2015 release Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The song was a peppy and fun track, revolving around the little one as she refuses to eat vegetarian food and prefers non-vegetarian food instead.?
The song, Chicken Kuk-Doo-Koo, comes at the time when Munni refuses to eat the usual vegetarian food prepared at Pawan's home and prefers chicken instead. Realising this, Pawan, who is a staunch vegetarian himself, takes her to a restaurant and feeds her the dish.?
He said, "The Chicken Song at face value is actually the most popular song of the kids because of the way Salman and Kareena are dancing and all that. It's all the most political song of the film because it came in the face of the beef ban. And that song is basically saying-- this is Chaudhary Dhaba, which is a metaphor for India. Aadha hai nonveg, aadha hai veg (half dhaba is non-veg, half is veg). You decide what you want to eat and all of us can sit together and eat. So that's the way you slip into politics."
Bajrangi Bhaijaan starred Harshaali Malhotra as Munni. The little Harshali won a lot of hearts for her performance in the film and made us laugh as well as cry without uttering a single word.?
The film also starred Nawazuddin Siddiqui,?Sharat Saxena,?Meher Vij?and Om Puri among others. Bajrangi Bhaijaan was a massive success and had a lasting impact on the audience, even after they exited the theatres.?
