The series is based on a true incident when a ship called Endurance went missing. It all got started in 1914 with Ernest Shackleton's ambition, which was to take up the journey of the greatest Antarctic. He wanted to cross the continent from one side to the other. Shackleton also took over 25 men as his crew, as he knew the journey would not be easy.
