Harikatha OTT release date: Starring the likes of veteran stars Rajendra Prasad and Sriram, this mystery series flavoured with a thrilling touch of mythology is ready to arrive on your small screens. Directed by Maggi, the makers recently released the trailer of this show and it looks extremely exciting. Watch Harikatha on Disney+ Hotstar from December 13 onwards.
The series also stars Divi Vadhata, Pujitha Ponnada, Srikanth, Suman, MS Vikram Savyasachi, Mounika Reddy, Arjun Ambati, Ruchira Saadineni, Shriya Kottam, and Usha Shree among others. Harikatha has been produced by Vishwaprasad TG with Vivek Kuchibotla and Krithi Prasad as the co-producers.
The crew list further includes Sasikiran Narayana as executive producer, Vijay Ulaganath as Director of Photography, Kiran Mamidi as art director, Junaid Siddique as editor and Suresh Bobbili as music director. Suresh Jai has written Harikatha with Ramesh Murthy as the co-director, Gayathridevi Josyula as costume designer and Shiva Kumar handling the direction department.
The story of the web series Harikatha is set in a village where people believe that God himself is coming down to punish them by committing murders. The trailer starts with a powerful Bhagavad Gita hymn playing in the background, and we see a series of murders happening in a peaceful town that has never seen violence before.
The villagers start to panic, thinking that these deaths are part of a divine punishment. A police officer arrives in the village and challenges the belief that God is behind the murders. As he investigates the mystery, he loses his own family in the process. The story leaves viewers wondering: Who is really behind these killings?
Is God punishing the people, or is there something else happening? Can the police officer solve this mystery and stop the murders? The trailer ends with a shocking moment, hinting that God might actually be involved in the events building up the suspense.
