Kishkindha Kaandam OTT release date:?This 2024 Malayalam psychological mystery thriller?is finally gearing up for its OTT release. Directed by Dinjith Ayyathan in his second outing after his debut with Kakshi Amminipilla, the film had a theatrical release on September 12. Now, Kishkindha Kaandam is all set to stream on Disney+ Hotstar from November 19 onwards.

Kishkindha Kaandam’s plot

For those who don’t know, this film is a huge milestone in Asif Ali’s career as it is his first solo lead film to cross the ?75 crore mark at the box office. Kishkindha Kaandam’s plot revolves around Aparna who moves to her husband Ajay’s house near a forest reserve right after their marriage.

Suddenly, Ajay who is a forest officer witnesses the unexplained disappearance of his son. In the middle of all this, his father Appu Pilla who is shown obsessed with a missing pistol and struggles with memory loss, hides dark secrets that gradually come to light. What happens next is a thrilling experience to follow, soon on OTT.

Bahul Ramesh has written this thriller alongside also handling its screenplay, story, and dialogues. Kishkindha Kaandam has been produced by Joby George under the banner of Goodwill Entertainments. The film stars Asif Ali as Ajay Chandran K.V., Vijayaraghavan as Appu Pillai, and Aparna Balamurali as Aparna alongside Ashokan, Jagadish, Aarav, Vyshnavi Raj, Shebin Benson, Major Ravi, Nizhalgal Ravi, Nishan, Kottayam Ramesh, Arjun Radhakrishnan Ambat, and Shravan K. Dev in supporting roles.

Kishkindha Kaandam is edited by Sooraj E.S., with music composed by Mujeeb Majeed and project design by Kaka Stories. Vishnu Sujathan did the sound mixing with audiography getting managed by Renju Raj Mathew. Bobby Sathyaseelan served as chief associate director and Sajeesh Thamarassery as art director. Rajesh Menon handled production control, Srik Varier (POETIC) did the colour grading, and VFX was by Pictorial FX.
