Netflix¡¯s October slate is filled with several surprises and some mind-blowing content. While you take a sip of your coffee, there¡¯s more coming your way. One of which is a Polish crime thriller. Headlined by Olaf Lubaszenko and J?drzej Hycnar, Justice is all set to stream on Netflix on October 16, 2024.
Set in the early 90s, Justice revolves around a discharged police officer played by Olaf who is given a chance to reclaim his former life in exchange for catching a group responsible for a bank raid. A young policewoman is assigned to the case and because the new authorities don¡¯t appreciate media attention, the detective must act quickly and do his part to reclaim what¡¯s truly his.
While it's a popular assumption that Justice might be inspired by one of the crime pages of Polish history, there¡¯s no official confirmation on the same. It¡¯s touted to be thrilling, exciting and surely something that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Produced by Magdalena Szwedkowicz under the direction of Micha? Gazda, Justice also stars Wiktoria Gorodecka, ?ukasz Szczepanowski, Stanis?aw Linowski and Magdalena Boczarska in key roles. Dana Lukasinska and Bartosz Staszczyszyn have written the screenplay with Piotr Kmiecik on the editing desk.
Justice is also popularly known as Napad (meaning Attack or The Assault in Polish) and is a creation of Polish filmmaker Michal Gazda¡¯s mind. He is best known for having directed the film Forgotten Love (Znachor) alongside several television titles including episodes of Wataha, Belle Epoque, and Hold Tight.
