Mismatched Season 3 OTT Release Update: The cold coffee is brewing once more, as is the love and connections in Netflix¡¯s popular romantic series. India¡¯s favourite on-screen couple Prajakta Koli (Dimple) and Rohit Saraf (Rishi) are back to remind us why we fell in love with them in the first place. Mismatched 3 premieres on Netflix from December 13 onwards.
In the previous seasons of Mismatched, we saw the chemistry between Dimple and Rishi grow amid all love and challenges. Season 3 picks up from the iconic cold coffee scene that first brought them together. Now, they¡¯ve moved from Aravali Institute to a new campus in Hyderabad, where Rishi is living the life Dimple once dreamt of. The season peaks into their evolving relationship, exploring the idea of living two lives ¨C one real and one virtual ¨C while uncovering their true motives.
The question remains: will their love story continue to bloom in this "betterverse"?
In addition to Dimple and Rishi, another love story to look out for is that of Sid Sir (Ranvijay Singh) and Zeenat (Vidya Malavade). After facing challenges in the past, they¡¯re starting fresh, both personally and professionally. We also see a blossoming romance between Anmol (Taaruk Raina) and Vinny (Ahsaas Channa). Along their journey, we can expect to see the complexities of young love unfold.
Mismatched has always used music to enhance its storytelling, and Season 3 is no different. From the soulful Sufi-inspired anthem Ishq Hai to the emotional ballad Do Din Ke Baad, and a fresh take on first love with Pyaar Hai, the soundtrack will play a big role in the season¡¯s mood. Alongside the music, expect some relatable dialogues like ¡°Pyaar me padna easy hai, pyaar ko nibhana sabse mushkil¡± (Falling in love is easy, but maintaining it is the hardest) to tug at your heartstrings.
Produced by RSVP Movies and based on Sandhya Menon's book When Dimple Met Rishi, the young-adult series returns with deeper connections, new mates, and more heartbreaks. Mismatched Season 3 also stars Abhinav Sharma, Muskkaan Jaferi, Lauren Robinson, Garima Yajnik, Kshitee Jog, Jatin Sial, Dipannita Sharma and Akshat Singh among others. It has been written by Gazal Dhaliwal, Aarsh Vora, Sunayana Kumari, Nandini Gupta and Akshay Jhunjhunwala.
