'Masterpiece', Internet Hails Siddharth Malhotra's Acting, Lauds Mission Majnu For Strong Climax
After days of anticipation, an Indian spy thriller titled ¡®Mission Majnu¡¯ released today.?
The film is a fictional portrayal of an undercover operation conducted by India prior to and during the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War, with Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna playing the main roles.
Amandeep Singh, a field operative for RAW, goes to Pakistan on a covert mission to investigate Pakistan's involvement in the creation of nuclear weapons. He has to balance his personal and professional lives with his blind girlfriend Nasreen while he is there.
Fans were waiting for the film to be released and many flocked to Twitter to share their reactions.

In addition, during an Interview with PTI, Sid claimed that just before the lockdown, he came across the Mission Majnu script and was immediately captivated by it because it was a full package with aspects of "true story, thrill, and romance."
He said, ¡°I found it fascinating that it is inspired by true events and yet it is fictionalized for obvious reasons, because we do not know about these missions. It gives an insight into how a spy works in another country on their own while on a mission in an entertaining and interesting way¡ So I found it a complete film, with elements of true story, thrill and romance. ¡±
After "Shershaah," Malhotra appears in "Mission Majnu," which is also based on a true story. The actor suggested that his military past may play a role in his propensity for uplifting tales.
He added, ¡°Maybe it is because I come from an army background that I like to portray such heroic characters. But I also feel it is imperative to showcase the efforts that our forces make, whether it is the armed forces or secret service, to protect the borders of the country.¡±?
The movie marks another effort in the action genre for the actor, who believes it is the emotion behind the action that attracts him to such stories.?
On the work front, after ¡®Mission Majnu¡¯, he will also be seen in actioner 'Yodha¡¯.
