Odela 2 OTT Release Window: Tamannaah Bhatia has finally arrived in theatres with her much-awaited Telugu thriller, and audiences are going bonkers. Released globally on 17th April, the supernatural film is a direct sequel to Odela Railway Station (2022). Produced by D. Madhu under the banner of Madhu Creations and Sampath Nandi Teamworks, Odela 2 is directed by Ashok Teja. Here¡¯s everything you need to know about the movie, including its OTT details.
According to Filmibeat, Amazon Prime Video has bought the online streaming rights for Odela 2 in all languages for a whopping price of Rs 18 crore. The movie will be available to watch on Prime about five weeks after it releases in theatres. If everything goes as planned, it could start streaming on either May 16 or May 23.
Other than Tamannaah, Odela 2 also stars Hebah Patel, Vasishta N. Simha, Murali Sharma, Sharath Lohitashwa, Yuva, Naga Mahesh, Vamsi, Gagan Vihari, Surender Reddy, Srikanth Iyengar, Bhupal, Pooja Reddy and Kriss Venugopal among others. This B. Ajaneesh Loknath's musical is written by Sampath Nandi, cinematographed by Soundararajan and edited by Avinash.
Set in the mystical village of Odela, Odela 2 picks up from the supernatural themes established in the first film. The village, protected by the powerful deity Odela Mallanna Swamy, faces a new and terrifying threat. A dark force has emerged, an evil entity seeking to gain control over the five natural elements (earth, water, fire, air, and space), intending to disturb the spiritual and natural balance of the region.
Into this troubled scenario enters Shiva Shakthi (Tamannaah), a fierce and spiritually awakened sadhvi (female ascetic). Drawn to the village by visions and a divine calling, she discovers that the malevolent force is not only ancient but also tied deeply to the secrets buried in Odela¡¯s past. As villagers begin experiencing unexplainable phenomena, Shakthi takes it upon herself to uncover the source.
