Actor Lee Sun-kyun of the Academy Award每winning film Parasite has unexpectedly passed away, the South Korean emergency office announced on Wednesday.
It added that Lee was discovered dead in a car on Wednesday in a park in the heart of Seoul.?An unconscious Lee was found at an undisclosed place in Seoul, according to police earlier.
Known for the movie Parasite, he was also a nominee for an International Emmy Award last year for best actor for his role in the science fiction thriller Dr. Brain.
The son's employment with the rich Park family presents the poor Kim family with an opportunity. They all quickly figure out how to work in the same home and begin leading parasitic lives.

Due to allegations of using illegal drugs, Lee was the subject of a police investigation. Lee and seven other individuals were under investigation by the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency in South Korea for suspected drug use. Lee claimed to have been the victim of blackmail by another individual under investigation and to have lost hundreds of thousands of dollars to extortion. As recently as last Saturday, Yonhap reports, police questioned Lee three times on his alleged use of marijuana and other drugs at a high-end bar hostess' house in Seoul earlier this year. He said he was duped and had no idea what he was ingesting.
"Parasite" took home four Oscars in 2020: best picture, original screenplay, foreign feature film for South Korea, and director for Bong Joon-ho. Additionally, it became the first South Korean picture to win the Palme d'Or at the Cannes picture Festival. Lee and the rest of the ensemble of "Parasite" took home a Screen Actors Guild award for best cast performance in a motion film.
