The greatly renowned drama The Crown's final season has a new video announcement from Netflix. The plot twist is that the final season is split into two parts, the first of which will premiere on the major streaming service in November and the second of which is scheduled to do so in December.?
Netflix shared two brand-new posters for The Crown's final season on social media on Monday. Princess Diana is shown on the first poster leaning against a plank next to the pool.? The second poster featured an image of Queen Elizabeth II strolling by herself along a broad path. The poster revealed the release date for Part 2, which was set for December 14.
Staunton, Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana, Ed McVey as Prince William, Luther Ford as Prince Harry, Meg Bellamy as Kate Middleton, and Jonathan Pryce as Prince Phillip are among the actors who will appear in the final season. The sixth season of the show will follow Princess Diana and her boyfriend Dodi Fayed through the years leading up to her passing.
Reacting to this, one wrote, ¡°I love the perspective of the Diana poster. It's such an iconic photo.¡±
Another added, ¡° TWO PART FINAL SEASON.. making it longer and easier to say goodbye + PART 2 RELEASES ONE DAY AFTER MY BIRTHDAY? I¡¯m so ready but not ready at the same time.. #TheCrown.¡±
A third added, ¡°Maybe I live in the twilight zone because I could¡¯ve sworn the last season was the last season.¡±
A fourth went on to add, ¡°My life is mentally and socially attached to this series. I can't think of saying goodbyes."
The official description of the upcoming season of The Crown reads: ¡°As The Crown enters a new decade, Prince William starts at University in St Andrew¡¯s, determined to lead as normal a life as possible while he still can. Also beginning life as a University student, is Kate Middleton from Berkshire. As the pair meet for the first time on campus, a new romance and a new future for The Crown begins.¡±
The show will stream on Netflix.
