Max OTT Release: Kichcha Sudeep¡¯s upcoming Kannada movie has reportedly secured a digital deal while its theatrical date is speculated to be dwindling. The film is currently a Christmas feast and is rumoured to see a push as a Sankranthi treat. Max will be streaming on Zee5 after its big screen release, as per an OTT Play report. The satellite and digital rights have reportedly been sold to Zee Network for Rs 28 crores.
Other than Kiccha, the action thriller also stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Samyukta Hornad, Sukrutha Wagle, Sunil, Pramod Shetty, Redin Kingsley, Ilavarasu, Anirudh Bhat, Ugramm Manju, Kamaraju, and Karan Arya among others. Max is directed by Vijay Karthikeyaa and produced by Kalaippuli S. Thanu under the banner of V Creations. B. Ajaneesh Loknath composed the music with Shekar Chandra as the cinematographer and S. R. Ganesh Baabu on the editing desk.
Max features Sudeep portraying a police officer named Arjun Mahakshay, and the story unfolds during that one night after he returns to duty after a short suspension. The movie has a runtime of slightly less than 2 and a half hours and is described as a narrative filled with action. The team has remained secretive about the core plot but a summary of the film circulated on social media lately suggested that Max resembles largely to Ravi Teja¡¯s Krack. However, the trailer might clear some air.
