Shanmukha OTT release date Prime Video: When to watch Avika Gor and Aadi Saikumar’s Telugu fantasy drama

Avika Gor’s much-awaited Telugu film Shanmukha has reportedly opted for a direct-to-digital release and its premiere details have surfaced on the internet. Shanmukha will start streaming on Prime Video on October 27, 2024, as per a report published in the Economic Times. Here’s what more you need to know.

Plot of Shanmukha

Shanmukha is a story set in an ancient village in southern India which is known as a place of mystery and legend. There is a temple believed to be holding secrets dating back centuries. It is also presumed to be connected with a powerful deity and a hidden treasure that has the potential to change the course of humanity.

Suriya (Aadi Sai Kumar) plays an adventurous and fearless Police officer who takes a journey to uncover the secrets of the Shanmukha temple and he is accompanied by his courageous Research Student Sara (Avika Gor). As they delve into the depths of the forest's hidden secret place guided by ancient scriptures and local folklore, what comes to their knowledge is worth watching the movie for.

Other than Aadi and Avika, Shanmukha also stars Chirag Jani, Aditya Om, Ariyana Glory, Manoj Nandam and Krishna Alluri in key roles. Directed by Shanumugam Sappani and written by Satish Aketi, the movie is marked as a theatrical release on IMDb and an official announcement of its OTT release are still awaited. The film has been produced by Tulsiram Sappani under the banner of SAPBRO Productions.
