Amid reports that Pakistani singer Atif Aslam is poised to make a Bollywood comeback after nearly seven years in the upcoming film "LSO90's" (Love Story of the 90's), featuring actors Adhyayan Suman and Miss Universe Diva, Divita Rai, an old post is going viral where the singer criticises India for its decision to revoke Article 370 of the Indian Constitution.
Twitter users recall his opposition to the revocation of Article 370 by the Indian government; one comment reads, "We don't need #AtifAslam in Bharat."

In 2019, the Indian government revoked the special status, or autonomy, granted to Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 of the Indian Constitution. Jammu and Kashmir, a region administered by India as a state and a subject of dispute among India, Pakistan, and China since 1947, was affected by this decision.
Following the revocation, communication lines in the Kashmir Valley were cut off, and it took five months for them to be restored. The government deployed additional security forces to prevent potential uprisings. Several prominent Kashmiri politicians, including the former chief minister, were detained. Government officials claimed these measures were taken to preempt violence and justified the revocation as a means to grant people in the state access to government programmes such as reservation, right to education, and right to information.
The producers and distributors of Bollywood's upcoming "Love Story of 90s," Haresh Sangani and Dharmesh Sangani, are excited to work with Atif Aslam. In a conversation with a media outlet, they said that it is great that Atif Aslam is making a comeback after 7-8 years and that they are happy because he has sung the first song in their movie.?
They also mentioned that Atif has sung only one song in their film, which is a romantic one fitting the film's title.
Since starting his musical career in 2003 with the well-known band 'Jal,' the 40-year-old singer, Atif, has delivered many hit Bollywood tracks, including "Aadat," "Woh Lamhe Woh Baatein," "Pehli Nazar Mein," "Be Intehaan," and "Dil Diyan Gallan," among others.
