Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Janhvi Kapoor, Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor, John Abraham and Kareena Kapoor Khan were seen in attendance.
While doing so, Ranveer in his vibrant mood complimented Nita by saying she was ¡®just looking like a wow¡¯. For those who are living under the rocks, this is a catchphrase going viral on social media after an apparel store manager Jasmeen Kaur used it vigorously in her videos.
He started by complimenting the chairperson of Reliance Foundation, "so beautiful, so elegant, just looking like a wow, just looking like a wow" and continued to add, "The world knows her as Mrs Nita Mukesh Ambani but we lovingly call her ¡®bhabhi¡¯. The most generous heart and the most indomitable woman...".
The trend has gone massive on social media with several people recreating their versions of this quirky compliment. Popular musician Yashraj Mukhate recreated Jasmeen¡¯s lines into a whole new song and people are loving it. The most recent one to join the trend is actress Sanya Malhotra.
The Chapaak actress is getting trolled for using Ranveer as an option in her life and ¡®casually seeing¡¯ other men having Ranveer in her mind. Karan who plays a large role in giving a platform to celebs' personal life conversations defended them by saying, ¡°Do what you need to do because no one¡¯s looking. Trolling gets you nowhere. You are landing nowhere.¡±
She said, ¡°I wanted to be single for a while because I had come from difficult relationships. I was going through a phase where I said 'I just don't want to be attached, don't want to be committed'.
