Sanam Teri Kasam sequel controversy: The beloved romantic drama Sanam Teri Kasam has returned to theaters with a bang and has also captured the box office. Fans were thrilled when directors Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao recently alluded to a second Sanam Teri Kasam installment. Deepak Mukut, the producer, later brought up a copyright issue, claiming that he was the rightful owner of the film's intellectual property. The directors have now spoken out about the incident and stated that none of the three have any animosities toward one another.?
In an interview with Hindustan Times, the directors cleared the air, Vinay said, ¡°Sanam Teri Kasam begins with a flashback. We wrote part two of the film at that time only. We wanted to go ahead with a second part, but unfortunately for whatever reason, we couldn¡¯t. Nobody even asked for it all this while, until now. This (confusion) has been happening because of the interviews."
He said he wanted to officially announce that on Valentine's Day in 2026, there would be another tale of love and promises. He noted, though, that no movie had been formally announced. He stated that he could not be so self-centered as to make an announcement by himself, highlighting his regard for his team, which includes his producer and actors. He also shared that he and Deepak had a meal together on Monday night, indicating how close they are.????????
When asked if Deepak would return to produce the sequel to Sanam Teri Kasam, Vinay responded, ¡°Why do you feel otherwise? We are a team. This journey is for all of us."
