Singham Again box office collection week 1: Ajay Devgn’s film rakes in nearly Rs 175 crore

Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again, which hit the screens on November 1, has emerged as a massive commercial success despite releasing alongside Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The action drama has now ended its first week at the domestic box office on a great note at. Interestingly, it managed to do so despite receiving mixed reviews from most critics.?

Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty, has exceeded all expectations at the domestic box office and emerged as a runaway hit. According to Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 8.75 crore (nett) at the domestic box office on Thursday (November 7). This took the first week’s total collection to Rs 173 crore.?

The film is expected to pack a punch at the ticket window today (November 8). It is also likely to witness substantial growth over its second weekend. That said, Singham Again could have done even better had it not clashed with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The horror-comedy affected the film’s collection especially in urban centres. Moreover, the mixed reviews too haven’t worked in its favour.?
