What is Jawan about?
As revealed in the trailer, the film stars SRK in many avatars. He is a vigilante, a soldier, a romantic hero and even a messiah of the poor, but all he is trying to do is take on a nexus of corrupt politicians and businessmen. The film revolves around themes including?corruption, farmer suicides, the healthcare system, and more.
Is BJP rattled after Jawan's release?
Not us, but Trinamool leader Saken Gokhale thinks so. Taking a screenshot of BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya's tweet in which he mentioned how the success of Gadar 2 reflects the mood of the nation, Saket Ghokhale tweeted,?"BJP is at a point where it's too rattled to understand the mood of the nation. Wait for the box office records that #Jawan & King @iamsrk are going to create. That'll tell you the mood of the nation ?"
Is AAP promoting Jawan?
This one dialogue mouthed by Shah Rukh Khan in the film has become a political diatribe. It was first tweeted by AAP's official Twitter handle.?
The tweet reads, "What @ArvindKejriwal ji has been saying for years, today #Jawan SRK has also said that in the film. Jawan's Dialogue: "Instead of voting for fear, money, caste, religion, community, ask questions to those who came to ask for your vote. - Ask him what will you do for me in the next 5 years? If someone in the family falls ill, what will you do for his treatment? - What will you do to get me a job? What will you do to take the country forward? Now listen Kejriwal ji's speech."
