On August 12, 1997, T-series owner Gulshan Kumar walked out of his red Opel car towards a temple in the midst of the slums at Jeet Nagar in Versova when he was shot dead.?Three assailants had shot 16 bullets killing him on the spot.??

5. Amjad Sabri
Amjad Sabri, a revered Pakistani Qawwali singer, was gunned down in the city of Karachi.? The 45-year-old Sabri was on his way to a television station, where he was set to perform. Later,?the responsibility for his death was taken by The TTP Hakimullah Mehsud group ¡ª aka the Pakistani Taliban ¡ª who said that they carried out the assassination "for blasphemy."

7. Haryanvi Singer Sangeeta
A 26-year-old Haryanvi Singer who had been missing from past 12 days? was found buried near a highway in Haryana¡¯s Rohtak district last week. The woman named Sangeeta aka Divya was a resident of Delhi. She was a singer who used to upload her music videos on YouTube.? Ravi and Anil, who were arrested from Meham, disclosed to the Police that they had hatched a conspiracy to kill the singer.
8. Mia Zapata?
American musician who was the lead singer for the Seattle punk band The Gits died on July 7, 1993, at age 27, after being raped, beaten, and strangled by an unknown assailant.
9. Lenny Breau
Canadian-American guitarist and music educator was found dead in the roof-top swimming pool of his apartment building in Los Angeles in 1984. The autopsy report concluded that he had been strangled and his death was ruled a homicide. The case remains unsolved until today.
10. Dimebag Darrell
Darrell Lance Abbott, best known by his stage name Dimebag Darrell, was an American musician. He died on De 8, 2004, at age 38, after being shot, while performing, by Nathan Gale.?
