Actor Sharad Kelkar and Sushant Singh Rajput were once the rulers of the television industry. Both of them had successful careers and later did wonders in films as well. In a latest interview, Sharad opened up about how he perceives Sushant and that the Kai Po Che actor was one of the finest young talents.
Kelkar told Mashable India, ¡°Sushant did some excellent work in television. He was a good hero. And even in films, he did excellent work. He was one of the finest young talents we had. Unfortunately, he is not with us. We met a lot of times. He was a sweet boy. He had that spark. He always wanted to do something different, something great, and he achieved that.¡±
¡°He had that passion that he wanted to prove himself. He showed everyone how a TV actor could transition into films. Hats off to him, he proved it. He set an example for everyone,¡± he said. For the unversed, Sharad was last seen in Har Har Mahadev and has around 10 multilingual films shot and ready for release.
On the dommed day of 14th June 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput passed away aged 34. His last film Dil Bechara was released after his death. SSR appeared in some of the cult films like Sonchiriya, Chhichhore, Kedarnath, Detective Byomkesh Bakshi and MS Dhoni: An Untold Story. He also did Shudh Desi Romance and Raabta.
Earlier today, CBI concluded her case and quoted as per Economic Times, ¡°Since serious allegations were levelled in the Salian matter and claims were made that the two deaths were linked, as Salian had briefly worked for Rajput, her death has been probed in detail. The investigation has revealed that Salian had been organising get-togethers at her residence in the run-up to her birthday. The party on June 8th night was part of it. However, that night, Salian, who had consumed alcohol, lost her balance and slipped from the parapet of her flat.¡±
Apart from his glorious stints in films, Sushant also did a music video named Paas Aao in 2017. The Drive actor started his career in TV with Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil and went on to become a household name with Pavitra Rishta. On TV, he also did Zara Nachke Dikha, CID and Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 4.
