Many times celebrities have been bashed online for promoting tobacco. A recent example was Akshay Kumar who joined the Vimal universe along with Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn. Similarly, Ajay Devgn has often faced the heat from the audience. A fan of the Bollywood star had earlier urged him to not promote tobacco after he was diagnosed with cancer. He circulated nearly 1000 pamphlets to tell him that.?
In a recent interview, when Ajay Devgn was asked about criticism on the products he endorses, he said that he was promoting Elaichi.
