Emotional Allu Arjun Hugs Wife And Kids After Winning Best Actor National Award For 'Pushpa'

The announcement of the 69th National Film Awards concluded recently with Allu Arjun becoming the first Telugu star ever to win the award for Best Actor. The jinx was broken by Allu’s impressive performance in Sukumar’s directorial Pushpa: The Rise (2021). The blockbuster film grossed over Rs. 350 crores at the box office.

Other than Best Actor, Pushpa also won Best Music Direction which was given to Devi Sri Prasad.

Soon after the winners were announced, several videos surfaced on the internet where Allu Arjun can be seen getting emotional. The highlight of which remains his warm hugs with family and friends. In one video, Allu can be seen giving a long hug to Sukumar and getting emotional by the end of it.

Another one shows him hugging his wife Sneha Reddy and his kids as everyone present there cheered in the background. Arjun’s father and well-known producer Allu Aravind was also seen hugging the actor and everyone around. This warm exchange of emotions is making the internet swoon.

One user wrote, “Congratulations, Allu Arjun, for your hard work and great achievements in Indian cinema.”

Fans rushed to Allu Arjun’s residence and burst crackers outside his house soon after the awards were announced.

Paparazzi account Manav Manglani shared the video of the same and captioned it, “Celebrations outside Allu Arjun House as he wins Best actor National Award for Pushpa, Allu Arjun graciously greeted all his fans post the happy news.” The actor can be seen waving hands to fans who came to see him on his big day.

For the unversed, the film’s sequel, Pushpa: The Rule is currently under production and will hit theatres in 2024.

After this big win, DSP will return to create another chartbuster album for Pushpa 2. Talking about the same, he recently told News18, “The way Sukumar (director) sir has scripted the story is amazing. We’re working very hard and passionately for this film like we always do. We aren’t looking at any reprise of Oo Antava in Pushpa 2 but it’s too early to say anything right now.”

Devi continued, “We’re working on a lot of surprises. I hope everyone gives more and more love to the film and its album and make them memorable.” Pushpa 2 will see Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil reliving their characters from the first part with the addition of actors like Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj.
