The two attended the special tribute to former finance minister Arun Jaitley during DDCA Annual Honours 2019. The event was organized to officially rename Feroz Shah Kotla as the Arun Jaitley stadium and a special stand was also named after Kohli himself.

A Times of India report claims that DDCA president Rajat Sharma recalled how Arun Jaitley praised Virat’s brave act of showing up for his country and playing the match for the country even after his father’s death.?
