Earlier this year, rumours were rife that his son Ankush Bali had abandoned him after he was?diagnosed with?a rare neuromuscular disease Myasthenia Gravi. A YouTuber had put out a video claiming that the actor was in dire need of funds. He even said that the actor barely had any money and was struggling for food.
Arun Bali's son Ankush Bali has quashed all the rumours and he is evidently angry about the news spreading on social media.?"I heard that I have left my father in the hospital to rot...? Some YouTuber put a video. I wanted to bash him. There were rumours that I was taking (financial) help from someone," he told?Hindustan Times.?
He also clarified that there is no financial help required as his father, who worked hard for his entire life has saved enough money. "Till the last breath alive in me and my father, I will keep serving him. Those who doubt me, I don¡¯t care about them."
On the other side, CINTAA member Nupur Alankar had told?Etimes, "I was on call with Arun Bali sir when I sensed something is majorly wrong with his speech and pointed it out to him. After that I tried contacting his son Ankush, but couldn't get through. Then I called up Rajeev Menon who is Ankush's colleague and got his other number and I advised him to take Arun sir to the hospital immediately".?
Ankush Bali had clarified at that time that his father was at home now.
