Baahubali Writer To Pen The Script Of Aamir Khan's 1000 Crore Mahabharat, A 7-Part Movie Series
It been a long time since the rumours about Aamir Khan's 1000 Crore Mahabharat have been doing the rounds. Earlier, grapevine also suggested that the movie has been shelved. However, it seems the project is back on track again.?
It is said that veteran writer KV Vijayendra Prasad, who is best known for working as a writer on his son, SS Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali series, is in early discussions to pen the script for Aamir Khan's Mahabharat adaptation.?
"The dialogue has started between me and Mr Aamir Khan regarding Mahabharat. We will begin work on the script. It is too premature to talk anything in detail about the project," Prasad told PTI.
For the unversed, it is said that the seven part film series will be bankrolled by Mukesh Ambani. Aamir Khan will reportedly play the role of Lord Krishna in the magnum opus. Each series will have a different director, suggests several reports.
Rest of the cast of the movie has reportedly been not decided as of yet. The project is going to a big, for sure.?
Meanwhile, 78-year-old KV Vijayendra Prasad has penned a few stories during lockdown already.?
"Writing is my passion and I kept on writing but it is too early to reveal anything. My next project to come out is RRR," he said.
RRR features top Telugu stars Ram Charan and Junior NTR, besides Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in pivotal roles. The film is scheduled to be released worldwide in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi, next year in January.?
