Munawar Faruqui took everyone by shock when he first revealed in the show Lock Upp that he is divorced and has a son. Since then everyone has been intrigued by his personal life. What went wrong? The comedian has often talked about his marriage on Bigg Boss 17 but never revealed what went wrong in his marriage. His son even appeared on the show for a video message.?
Now, in one of the recent episodes, he shared that his first wife got married when his son had come home to him for 10-15 days and he didn't even know. He called the son's maternal grandfather to confirm the same. Now, his son lives with him and he loves him immensely.?
"I was almost 14 years old. When my mom passed away, 10 days later that was my birthday. She passed away on 18th January. My aunt said there was no point in staying there and they got Daddy and me to Mumbai. As soon as I came here I got a job in a utensils shop in Bhendi Bazaar. I used to earn Rs 60 per day and I was happy", he was seen telling co-contestants Aishwarya Sharma, Mannara Chopra and Arun Mashetty.

Aishwarya then asked as to who got him married. He revealed, "Gharwalon ne karayi thi." When asked what went wrong in his marriage, he refused to talk about it.?
Aishwarya then asked him, "You have a son within a year of marriage and he stays with you?" He quipped, "Yes, within a year of marriage and he stays with me now."
He was also asked if his wife is settled now, to which he replied, "She got married, I didn¡¯t even know about it. When I called Mikhail home after 10-15 days, I got to know that she got married. I called Mikhail¡¯s nana to ask whether it was true. I understood that Mikhail was here with me and she got married and left. I came to know that she went to another city completely."
