The makers of Bigg Boss 18 are getting massively slammed by its viewers for introducing?Gadhraj, a donkey, as a special guest on the show. The poor animal has been locked up inside the show in a small corner barely giving him any space to move around. He is often seen braying around due to uncomfitable environment. Seeing an animal being kept in a minimal space on a reality TV show, fans have been outraged. They're calling it animal cruelty.?
People are also expressing their worry if anyone is feeding and cleaning him regularly. "The animal looks frustrated," one of the users said. "This is definitelyanimal cruelty, they could easily kept a dog there who is a domesticated animal," said another user. "Animals are meant to be on stand on soil or raw land," pointed out another user.?
"Animal abuse," wrote another one. "This is animal abuse. He is constantly crying. They brought a donkey on Bigg Boss 18, thinking it will give them funny content," said another user. Some users even tagged Maneka Gandhi and Peta India to stop this cruelty.?
"It's literally animal abuse. We don't want to see an innocent animal being used just for some meagre TRP," said another user. "My heart went out to the donkey within the first 30 mins itself, he was screaming and he just looked so sad... Can the show legit do anything for its so-called TRP!? This is just so unfair... hopefully, we all can tweet or raise awareness about it. I'm not sure but I can't see poor donkey suffer, this is straight-up cruelty," said another user.
Bigg Boss 18 premiered on Colours TV on October 6.
