'Our Prayers Are With India, Stay Strong ARMY¡¯, BTS' Message For Fans Amid Covid-19 Spike
South Korean music sensation BTS which has a massive fan following in India, has sent out a message for their fans, also known as ARMY, in the country asking them to stay strong and keep the hope alive as the nation fights the devastating second wave of coronavirus pandemic.
"Our prayers are with India. Stay strong ARMY and let's never lose hope," group member V told PTI.
BTS is yet to come to India for a music tour.?
The band?took the stage at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday to perform their brand new single Butter. In their suave black suits, they rocked the uber-cool dance moves.
The performance was indeed smooth as butter.?
Asked what was the idea behind this single, Jimin (25) said the members were looking for a song with a summer vibe, something they could enjoy with everyone.
"We wanted a summer song that we can enjoy together with ARMY and everyone. And 'Butter' was the perfect fit," he said. "It's a song brimming with the charms of BTS, so I hope everyone enjoys it!".
BTS was nominated for Top Duo/Group, Top Song Sales Artist and Top Selling Song for Dynamite at the awards show this year, and they took home all four awards at the top of the show.?
