David Beckham & Shah Rukh Khan's Heartwarming Notes For Each Other Go Viral & It's Unmissable
Football legend David Beckham was recently in India to attend the semi-final of the ICC World Cup. This was his first visit to India and the man was hosted by Bollywood celebrities Shah Rukh Khan and Sonam Kapoor. After his visit, David penned a long note on his Instagram and appreciated his welcome.
What did David Beckham say about Shah Rukh Khan?
He shared two pictures - one with SRK and another with Sonam and his husband Anand Ahuja. Beckham wrote alongside, “Honoured to have been welcomed into this great man’s home. To enjoy a meal with @iamsrk, @gaurikhan, their beautiful children and close friends – what a special way to end my first visit to India... Thank you, my friend – you and your family are welcome anytime in my home.”
He then thanked Sonam and Anand while mentioning, “You hosted me with such warmth and kindness this week, thank you for the amazing evening you created at your home - see you again soon.”
What did Shah Rukh Khan say about David Beckham?
SRK posted the same picture and said, “Last night with an icon…and an absolute gentleman. Have always been a big admirer but meeting him and seeing how he is with kids made me realise that the only thing that outdoes his football is his kindness and his gentle nature. My love to your family. Be well and happy my friend and get some sleep.”
When David Beckham and SRK were in the same London mall and the Indian actor was largely mobbed making David question who he was.
This happened in 2012 and SRK later spoke about it and shared,? “Log jo hai porshe ko trample karke aage aarahe the. Me ek computer store gaya tha Preity Zinta ke saath aur Saif Ali Khan ke saath. And Beckham bhi wahan par the. Aur me Football freak, muje bohat acchi lagti hai soccer.”

The actress shared a carousel of pictures from her house during David’s visit and wrote, “It was such a pleasure showing you a small taste of India @davidbeckham @davidgardner Hope you loved India as much as India loves you! Thank you to my team that helped me put it together .”
