Recently, Deepika made headlines for a controversial reason. She was spotted outside director Luv Ranjan's office along with Ranbir Kapoor that a controversy made way.

After paps clicked Deepika, her fans joined the dots and started writing about their possible collaboration on a film with Luv Ranjan. Soon, fans started tweeted using a hashtag #NotMyDeepika on Twitter and many expressed their disappointment.

After close to a month, Deepika appeared on the cover of Vogue where she spoke about the entire controversy and clarified her stance. When she was asked if she would be willing to work with a person who has been accused of sexual misconduct, she responded in a negative saying (via), “No! I would not.”

On the professional front, Deepika will be seen in Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak and she will portray the role of real-life acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.

This will be Deepika's first film as a producer and it will also star Vikrant Massey. DP will also be seen in Ranveer Singh's '83 and she will step into the shoes of Romi Bhatia, Kapil Dev's wife for the movie.
